The next girl band

I’m sorry I’ve been missing in action for the past week, but I really needed a break from the internet and pretty much everything else. I’ve been home for Christmas and right now I’m watching movies 24/7 while eating all kind of good stuff and being generally gross and unfashionable. And you know what? It’s been amazing!

Kind of like when I visited Ana a few weeks back and had a super fun girls night in with her, Sandra and Eve. We were supposed to watch really bad movies but we ended up playing guitar hero instead. We’re talking some serious rocking here (and in my case sucking :)))).
I blame it on the outfit – you can't really rock in a maxi floral dress, can you? I bet I would have been legendary in a pair of burgundy leather pants. We all know I’m a badass at heart!
In my defense it was my first time but I tend to believe that I will shine in the future, so girls, until next time (insert evil laughter here)!!!

I just know our little girl band will happen big time! Prepared yourselves! I promise not to sing though; I leave the singing for my enemies - if you know what I mean!

Please don’t hate me for being so glamorous and living the life. I’m sure you can (maybe) be as cool if you try really, really hard! :))))) It comes naturally to me but otherwise I heard its 99% perspiration! No big deal!:))))

Ana has a little dog, Captain (like in Captain America obviously) who is the cutest thing ever, I’m obsessed with him, he is a little crazy and I have more than one scar to prove it but he is so sweet you can’t be mad with him. He basically invented the term "puppy eyes"! Just look at him!

We still ate tons of junk food, because how else are you going to survive the physical effort of lying on the couch?
Oh no, I won't let it go! I'm the lead guitarist, damn it!

Scarf shirt and bandage skirt

I’m going to be extra short today because I’m literally running out of door as we speak (not really, but I have real life stuff to do right now).

As you can see, I finally found a beautiful scarf print shirt that I can wear under my new spiked leather jacket – love the mix of bright colors and the black piping details.

I also recently discovered the magic of bandage skirts – they are very comfortable and super flattering, especially the black number I’m sporting in this outfit. Still obsessed with rhinestones – just look at my necklaces for proof.

Other than that, I’m trying to avoid excessive holiday shopping – with little success so far, but there’s still some hope for me!

I'm wearing:
bandage skirt, navy boots / fusta bandaj, cizme - random brand
scarf shirt, spiked leather / camasa esarfa,  geaca piele - romwe
necklaces  / coliere - Forever 21, H&M
silver rings / inele - random brands
bag / geanta - H&M

Christmas desserts – Cupcakes

The series of Christmas inspiration posts continues with a heavily illustrated article about Christmas desserts recipes, mainly cupcake designs to drool over. Don't forget to check out the rest of the Holiday themed articles I published so far!

I’m always looking for easy Christmas cookies and there are so many mind-blowing adorable cupcakes ideas, I had to make a separate post about them.
You can use basic cupcake recipes as a base and then go crazy with the decorating part – we’re talking fun cupcake wrappers, cupcake liners and any other cupcake supplies you can think of.

I would recommend to start with simple vanilla cupcakes (but there are hundreds of recipes for cupcakes online so you can choose your favorite flavor) which are an easy to make dessert and then choose a few of these fancy cupcakes designs and bring them to life. I'm partial to banana cupcakes and red velvet cupcakes so these are the flavors I plan to work with.

Snowflake cupcakes - use a classy color combination - how about blue and white frosting on chocolate cupcakes?

The snowmen with earmuffs have to be the cutest winter themed cupcakes ever!
