Halloween costumes and makeup ideas, Halloween music too!

Here is some last minute Halloween inspiration for those of you who plan to make a day and night out of it.

We dealt with Halloween food, Halloween decorations and pumpkin carving and now it’s time for some Halloween costumes ideas, spooky nails and Halloween makeup and even some Halloween songs to get you into the mood for creepy.

Before anything else, here’s my Halloween music playlist – it was hard to choose 20 favorite Halloween songs - these however can be listened anytime and have wonderful dancing beats – a great Halloween party involves crazy dancing:

Superstition by Stevie Wonder
Thriller by Michael Jackson
I put a spell on you by Screamin’ Jay Hawkins
Monster Mash by Bobby "Boris" Pickett & the Crypt-Kickers
Trick or Treat by Andrew Gold
Toccata and Fugue in D Minor by J S Bach
Ghostbusters by Ray Parker Jr.
Somebody's Watching Me by Rockwell
Halloween Mary - PF Sloan
Welcome to my Nightmare by Alice Cooper
Werewolves of London by Warren Zevon
This Is Halloween by Marilyn Manson
Witchy Woman by Eagles
A Nightmare on My Street  by D.J. Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince (Will Smith)
Hungry like the Wolf  by Duran Duran
Dinner with Drac, Pt. 1 by John Zacherley
Moon Over Bourbon Street by Sting
The Purple People Eater by Sheb Wooley
Halloween by Grant Lee Buffalo
Lies of the Living Dead by The Minus 5

Some spooky fairytale characters to help a heart attack!
 Some blood lipstick anyone?
Haunted Castle?! Yes please! I'll take two of those!
A bit windy, isn't it?

We're kicking things off with a bunch of inspiring Halloween makeup ideas to build your Halloween costume around - I personally think that's an easy way to end up wearing something amazing and original!

Absolutely stunning Halloween makeup - evil forest fairy! And how about that headpiece mask?!

Yet another great and popular Halloween makeup idea -  be a witch! The secret is the eyes makeup - they hold the magic !

A cool Halloween costume idea for all the pop culture lovers is dressing like a comic book character! Here's the make-up to match!

The ever so popular zombie/skeleton Halloween make-up!

Some inspiring Halloween makeup pictures for evil/good fairytale princesses!

...and the creepy Lana Del Rey nails to match!

Dia De Los Muertos make-up and costume! These are utterly spooky!

 The white queen!

I couldn't exclude the Halloween vampire makeup because, let's  face it, we all want eternal life and extraordinary beauty (that's the promise according to Twilight and The Vampire Diaries:))))

The next section is a visual list of the best Halloween costumes I've seen lately! When it comes to adults Halloween costumes, I'm obviously attracted to something creative or at least something that makes you/me look hot without being too sluty and graphic! That being said, here is what caught my eye this year around the World Wide Web.

Firstly we have a very intriguing  Half Man - Half Woman costume!

...and a seductive mourning widow!

If you're into sexy Halloween costumes then an evil Snow White version in mustard over the knee tights and a lace body suit is the way to go! I love the red bow headband and huge knife as accessories. I'm also in love with this fairytale queen mask makeup - flawless!

If you want to include actual fashion trends into your Halloween costume try dressing up like a baroque doll at Deadman's Ball!

Another easy and fashion forward Halloween costume that doesn't compromise your hotness is an eye goddess!

The best life sized Victor Van Dort from Burton's movie Corpse Bride (which I'm obsessed with by the way) I have ever seen!

And how about a truly original Halloween costume - dress as Harley Quinn, Joker’s Bitch!

I don't have kids and don't plan on having any time soon, but these kids Halloween costumes are so adorable, I couldn't help it! Kids have the best time on Halloween when even the grown ups resort to games, candy and magic!

Cute owl tutu dress and headband!

The most beautiful mini Little Red Riding Hood in the world and an unbearably cute ladybug baby Halloween costume!

More kids Halloween costumes - Ariel, the little mermaid and a very energetic rocket boy taking off!

Alice in Wonderland - the extra sweet variety!

My heart can't take the amount of adorable in this picture: you can't really blame the wolf for trying to eat Little Red Riding Hood if she looked like this, can you?!

Wednesday Addams pre Halloween outfit

It’s not Halloween yet, but I do feel the creepy vibe – hence this Halloween inspired outfit that I put together without actually realizing I was channeling some serious Wednesday Addams. Well, my sister told me it’s more of a sluty sultry nun look (you know, the American Horror Story kind of nun), but I’m going to go with Wednesday Addams for the sake of my pristine reputation :)))).

Granted the dress is too short for my tall frame, but it’s so damn cute with its white Peter Pan collar and cuffs that I put it on anyway. I’m still wearing the gold bats necklace in the picture as I’m typing this – goes really well with my very stylish and grown up teddy bears pajamas – I will probably wear it tomorrow to work and there is a chance it’s going to naturally attach to my skin.:))))

You might also notice the Halloween nails – I don’t really know what I was going for, but just so you know, the red on the tips is supposed to be blood, the yellow base I already had on and I thought it would work.

I’m such a rule breaker wearing white ankle boots past Labor Day, right!!! Seriously now, they are called Astro boots – how could one resist?

The white tuxedo jacket was a last minute detail - I thought it would add a little bit of classy into the mix  - not that I need much help with that being such a lady myself!:))))))))))

 I'm wearing:
white tuxedo jacket / sacou - vintage
bats necklace / colier lilieci - romwe
cross necklaces / coliere cruci - random brand and Mango (cel auriu)
dress / rochie - romwe
  bag / geanta  - Debenhams
white ankle boots / cizme - Asos Astro boots
rings / inele - Mango, MiniPrix and Asos

Event: Fashion Night Out

Let me introduce you to some Romanian designs and fashion brands that I got the chance to see and photograph at this event called Fashion Night Out organized last week, here, in dear, old Bucharest.

The absolute highlight of the night for me was Fe[Male] with a collection (the first nine photos) that I deem superhero worthy. That is not to say it’s wasn’t wearable, au contraire, my friends, I found it supremely badass and full of original details. How cool is the unusual mix of materials: felt, neoprene, plexiglass and actual mirror pieces with silk and soft veil?

I totally see Wonder Women wearing them in her spare time. I also see myself rocking every single piece – they are just amazing!

The rest of the text is in Romanian, but just known every look in the following photos (well except the last 4 photos that are actually a Remy Holwick production - she was the American designer invited to Fashion Night Out) was designed in this part of the world!

RO:

This dress is proper superhero gear: amazing cosmic print with a mirror bodice! I love it so much!
The coat with the post-apocalyptic hood was beyond cool!
Another stunning coat - the details and shape are just beautiful!
Everybody needs a dress with a sequined cape attached!!! I know I do!
Peplum taken to the next level!
This dress is pure magic - love the contrast between the plexiglass covered bodice and the liquid silk skirt!
 So hot!
In case you've seen photos with this jacket at Paris Fashion Week (and I know you did), just know it's a Romanian design by Fe[Male].

My favorite dress from Parlor - I adore the subtle layering and delicate details!
Glamorous minimalism - very pretty!

What a beautiful fabric choice - also note the contrasting Peter Pan collar and belt!
The sheer silver hart print layer over the electric blue column dress creates a  very playful and feminine look. Feels like I should have these two looks in my wardrobe right now!

What a fabulous choice of color for this uber feminine look!
This dress makes sequins look super classy!

Totally in love with the Frida Kahlo inspired headbands!
 These are so very L.A!
Cool colorful pants with an exposed zipper detail - they seemed to have a great fit as well!

Asadar, ce va place cel mai mult?
Anything you would really want to wear/own from the above designs?
